I’ve recently treated myself to a new mattress and I have to say I was enticed to buy this particular one because of their guarantee. On their website and in their advertising, Emma Original Mattresses state:
“We’re so sure of the quality of our mattresses that we’re more than happy to offer you a 10-year guarantee…In the unlikely case you should encounter any problems with your mattress, send our customer service team a photograph of the damage and we will swap it for a brand-new mattress”.
It reminded me of the guarantee I saw at Premier Inn too:
“…we’re so confident you’ll have a great night’s sleep that, if you don’t, we’ll give you your money back*. Just speak to one of our friendly reception team. This is our Good Night Guarantee”.
I know there is a theme here, but sleep is important right?!
But seriously, in the hours I was awake over the last few days, it got me thinking – why wouldn’t we offer a guarantee?
I know our service is good. I know we add value and I know we deliver what we promise to the businesses we work with and therefore why wouldn’t we guarantee our services to our clients? I want our clients to be confident that the service they sign up to is the one that is delivered so why not put our money where our mouth is?
